Sumo Spice Premieres at the Utah Asian Festival
This past weekend, Sumo Spice had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at the Utah Asian Festival, and what an unforgettable experience it was! Not only did we get to introduce our beloved chili crisp to a wider audience, but we also launched two exciting new products: Ginza Garlic Crunch and Hokkaido Hot Honey.

Unveiling Our Newest Creations
The Utah Asian Festival provided the perfect platform to debut our latest additions to the Sumo Spice family. Ginza Garlic Crunch, with its bold and savory garlic flavor, quickly became a crowd favorite. Our Hokkaido Hot Honey, blending the sweetness of honey with a fiery kick, was an adventurous treat that left festival-goers craving more.
The crowd at the Sumo Spice booth was constant, as they all wanted to tried a Utah-made chili crisp.
Connecting with the Community
One of the most rewarding aspects of the festival was meeting so many new people. It was fantastic to see such a diverse crowd eager to explore and enjoy the rich flavors we’re so passionate about. Watching their faces light up as they tried our products for the first time was truly priceless. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, and we were thrilled to hear so many compliments about the unique taste and quality of our chili crisp.
We unexpectedly sold out of all our product by 3pm — we’ll be better prepared next time!
A Remarkable Milestone
To say that we were well-received would be an understatement. By 3 PM, we had completely sold out of everything we had! The buzz around our booth was non-stop, and it was beyond exciting to witness such enthusiasm for Sumo Spice. Selling out so quickly was a testament to the love and support from everyone who stopped by. It was a whirlwind day, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

We left the festival with full hearts and an empty stock. This event marked a significant milestone for Sumo Spice, as we introduced our brand to so many new faces and made lasting connections.
